The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
COVID-19 forced a further postponement of The Cragg Challenge in 2021. However, we are pleased to announce the return of the traditional closed-road events up (and down) the longest continuous climb in England on Sunday 18 September 2022.
We are planning to run all the traditional events: runs of 5K, 10K and 10 miles, The Oliver Collinge Climb (school relay), The John Jones Dash (1 mile downhill), Cycle Climb, 100Km Grimpeur (Audax) and new for this year a 200Km Audax for those who want a longer challenge.
Details are still being finalised and we will update this page as things progress.
The return of the full Cragg Challenge events and new for this year a 200 Km Audax!
The full 5 miles from the bottom of the longest continuous incline in England followed by the return downhill. There is mixed opinions about which way is easiest!
1 mile down the hill from near the Robin Hood to the finish. Definitely a chance to set a fast time!
